Follow Spots

Follow Spots

followspot, sometimes known as a spot light, is a powerful stage lighting instrument which projects a bright beam of light onto a performance space. Followspots are most commonly used in concerts, musicals and large scale presentations where highlighting a specific, mobile, individual is critical.

Some followspots can be fitted with colorchangers to color the beam, and/or gobo holders to create a variety of effects. Most followspots can be fitted with color gels.

The 1000Q is designed for operation only with high performance quartz halogen lamps. The luminary can be used in any application where manual control of a lighting beam is required to follow a performer and to vary beam size, quality and color.
